Field Rental and Tournament Fee Schedule

Reservations for field rentals and tournaments for each calendar year shall not be available until February 15th of that year.

Field Rentals: 100% of rental fee due upon reservations. Reservations for available rental times taken on a first come, first served basis.

Baseball and Softball Fields- without lights -$45 per hour

Baseball and Softball Fields - with lights- $65 per hour

Tournament Field Rentals:

Tournaments - without lights- $100 per field per day

Tournaments - with lights - $175 per field per day

All tournaments organizers must comply with the following:

 1. A $1000 per tournament deposit shall be required to reserve the fields for a tournament. In the event the tournament organizer is reserving fields for 5 or more tournaments, the total deposit to reserve such tournaments shall be $5,000.  The total due for the field rentals for a tournament shall be due and owing two weeks prior to the tournament.  In the event full payment is not made by two weeks prior to the tournament, the City shall have the option to find alternate renters for the tournament time period.  No tournament shall be allowed to commence until rental payments are made in full. After placing a reservation, in the event the tournament organizer cancels the tournament for the reasons other than the request of the City, subject to the City not being able to rent the fields to an alternate organization, the full amount of the rental payment shall be due and owing. In the event the City can find an alternate renter for a portion or all the cancelled tournament rental, a prorated adjustment to the tournament fee shall be made. If the City requests that a portion or all of the tournament be cancelled due to weather or any other reason, the tournament organizer shall receive a refund of the proportionate amount of the rental fee.

2. Tournament organizers must hire qualified security personnel to be present during all tournaments.  The number of security personnel shall be at the discretion of the City and shall be based on the number of teams participating in the tournament.

3. Prior to the tournament, the tournament organizer must deposit a $500 check payable to the City of Flowood as a security deposit for damages to the facility during the tournament.  The unused portion of the security deposit will be refunded after each tournament, or at the option of the tournament organizer can be held as a deposit for a tournament  scheduled in the future.
